Dogs For Life schedules training classes

Dogs For Life, Inc. Has two basic obedience classes, one beginning Saturday, August 2, at 9 AM and the second beginning Friday, August 8, at 6 PM.

With the completion of the new air-conditioned Dogs For Life Training and Administrative Center, Inc. Located at the Off-Leash Dog Park, 1230 16th Avenue, we  will re-start our dog behavior/obedience classes for assistance dogs, pet-assisted therapy dogs and dogs owned by the general public. The classes are one hour, last for six weeks and cost $120.

Shelly Ferger, Founder and CEO of DFL, will be teaching the first series of classes with trainers Sgt. Jay Harris, CPDT-KA, US Army, and Paula Via, CPDT-KA, ABCDT.  “Now that the Training and Administrative Center is complete, we are excited to be teaching again, from the very basics to the advanced levels, all while having fun and using positive reinforcement.”
