Mr. Eddie  Darrisaw Jr.þþþþþþþdo3EיsEDDIE DARRISAW, JR., 82, of Vero Beach, FL, passed away on July 23, 2014. On November 23, 1931 in Tennille, GA a bubbling baby boy was born to the late Ruby and the late Eddie Darrisaw, Sr. They named him Eddie Jr. Eddie attended the school systems of Washington County. On June 23, 1948, Eddie was united in holy matrimony to Mary Ella Brown. To this union seven children were born, Emory, Mary, Gloria, Ruby, Leroy, Marvin, and Carolyn. In 1950 Eddie and his family relocated to Vero Beach, Fl. Eddie as he was known to by many as Eddie Jr. and Jr. was employed by Airlite Processing Company where he was an operating engineer for fifty years before his retirement. On July 23, 2014 at Indian River Medical Center, Eddie Life book came to a close. Eddie Jr. is preceded in death by son Emory. He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving and devoted wife, Mary Ella, Five daughters, Mary Brunson, Gloria Lewis, Ruby Darrisaw, and Carolyn McNeal (Anthony) all of Vero Beach and Sharon Dobson of Pensacola, FL ; Two sons , Leroy Darrisaw of Pompano Beach and Marvin Darrisaw of Vero Beach; his stepmother, Christine Hunter, Vero Beach, nineteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, fifteen great-great grandchildren; four sister in laws, Ernestine Miller (Willie Lee), Macon, GA, Gloria Hunter, Boston, Ma, Annie Lee Williams and Hattie Hagans both of Vero Beach; one brother in law James Hagans of Wabasso, FL; and a host of cousins and friends. Hortense & Mills Memorial Funeral Home (7/31/14)

 

william-kinley-obituaryWILLIAM RICHARD (BROTHER BILL) KINLEY – Minister William Richard (Brother Bill) Kinley passed on July 29, 2014. He was a radio minister for WJFP 91.1 F.M. in Fort Pierce, FL for 10 years. He served as a volunteer chaplain for the St. Lucie County jail at Rock Road for 5 years. Brother Bill also volunteered at Common Ground Ministries as a intricate part of their food ministry. Brother Bill’s ministry span through our Tri county area, with much emphasis on drug addiction. He will be sadly missed by the tri-county community along with Rev. Pauline W Kinley, four daughters; Susan Jackson, Bernice Hasan, Voydnita Jethroe, and Keisha Rentz and two sons; Eddie Anderson and Calvin Johnson.
