MARGARET ELIZABETH BEEBE, 63, of Vero Beach, FL, passed away Friday, August 1, 2014, at her residence. Margaret was born in Yonkers, NY, and moved to Vero Beach fourteen years ago from Schenectady, NY. Margaret was a veteran of the United State Army. Prior to retirement Margaret worked for Indian River County as a Maintenance worker. Margaret was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas. Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home. (7/5/14)

JOHN C. BUYER, 85 years, passed away Sunday night at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach. John was born in Winameg, Ohio, son of the late Vern and Mable (Derby) Buyer. John spent his early years working on the family farm and always talked about those days with great pride. He married Lavonne “Bonnie” in July 1965. He retired from Willie’s Jeep in Ohio, and moved to Vero Beach where he worked for Piper Aircraft for approximately 20 yrs, followed by Publix for 21 yrs. John always stayed busy and loved living in Vero Beach. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the Republican Executive Committee of Indian River County. He had passion for working in the yard and loved to reminisce of about his glory days as a high school track star. John will be missed by all that loved him. John is survived by his step-son Rick Lamb and one sister, Bonnie Mandley of Delta Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lavonne “Bonnie”; son, Michael ;three brothers, Haldon, Merlin, and Bob Buyer; four sisters, Alene Pfund, Neva Sharp, Doral Moll and LaVerne Hammersmith.
