Campaign finance reports for the period ending July 31, 2014 were released by the City Clerk’s office today. Among the four declared candidates as of July 31, Randy Old leads in fundraising. Old’s campaign received $30,353 in contributions through July 31. Brian Curely raised $8,210, Charlie Wilson a total of $350 and Brian Heady none. Heady typically runs his campaigns without seeking or accepting contributions.

Charlie Wilson will probably receive large amounts of campaign cash from his favorite electric company. It will probably come in late inorder to hide that fact from as many people as possible.
If the past is any indication of the future, the campaign cash will be funneled through his buddy Glenn who was chosen by FP&L to give lots of money to Tracy Carroll who lost anyway .
