Letter to the Editor: Vero Electric employees respond to infestation of African honey bees

Kudos to City of Vero Beach Electric transmission and distribution employees John and Patrick for their quick and efficient response to a dangerous issue we discovered yesterday. A nest of African honey bees hiding in an electric ground box aesthetically located in a hedge next to our apartment stung two people yesterday. Today, they are safely contained and disabled and will be removed in a few days.
