The VNA is pleased to announce that Chovine Visintainer, VNA administrative assistant, has been named VNA’s associate of the quarter. Visintainer was selected by her peers for her accountability, integrity, collaboration, and excellent customer service.

“Chovine demonstrates excellent work ethic in all her tasks,” states Rosalie Webster, Vice President of Human Resources. “She is always polite and serves as an incredible support for both Nightingale’s office staff and the VNA’s Human Resources department.”

Visintainer’s eagerness to help out and learn new responsibilities as needed has benefited the agency as a whole. Although she is an employee of the VNA’s private duty sister company, Nightingale Private Duty Nursing, she also provides coverage for the main reception desk for the VNA. Always eager to learn, Visintainer has been known to come to the office on her days off to get “refreshers” on any new procedures she needs to know to do her job more efficiently and effectively.

Visintainer has an extensive background in office management and assistant duties. Prior to joining Nightingale Private Duty Nursing, she worked for ten years in the real estate industry working with prospective landlord and tenants, preparing leases, running background checks on prospective tenants, scheduling repairs, and other administrative duties. She also worked as a flight attendant for Pan American World Airways in the Latin American Division. Visintainer is fluent in Spanish and resided in Latin America for twelve years. She graduated from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
