“No Sex Please, We’re British” at Vero Beach Theatre Guild September 18 – 28.

The Vero Beach Theatre Guild is proud to announce its first show of the 2014 – 2015 season, our 57th season, No Sex Please, We’re British onstage September 18 – 28.

In this English farce, newlywed Assistant Bank Manager, Peter, and his wife, Frances, live in the apartment above his bank. When Frances sends away for a gift for Peter, she expects Scandinavian glassware, but instead receives Scandinavian pornography. Hysteria ensues as Peter and Frances try to stop the deliveries, which are getting increasingly worse, and at the same time keep anyone in the bank from finding out. No Sex Please, We’re British is written by Alistair Foot and Anthony Marriott. The Guild production is directed by Clara McCarthy.

Cast members come from the local community, including Kara Henson, Nicholas Keeler, Eleanor Hunter, Mary Moriarty, Bill Lembeck, Walter Wells IV, Michael J. Fiore, Lorina Lee Beniamino, Collette Loo and Jim Daly. .

The Vero Beach Theatre Guild is a Not-for-Profit, 501(c)(3) cultural organization.

Show times are 7 p.m. on September 18, 24 & 25; 8pm on September 19, 26 & 27 and 2 p.m. on September 20, 21 & 28. Tickets are $24 and $22. Youth 18 and under are half-price. Tickets may be purchased on-line at verobeachtheatreguild.com, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by calling the box office at (772) 562-8300 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday-Friday, or by visiting the box office at 2020 San Juan Ave. Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted.
