EDNA G. BACHMANN, 87, died September 10, 2014 at Sebastian River Medical Center in Sebastian, FL. Edna was born in Beverly, MA and lived in Vero Beach, FL coming from Everett, MA in 2001. Edna worked with AT&T for 26 years as a clerk of communications.

Survivors include sons, Jeffrey Bachmann of Salem, MA, Joseph David Bachmann of New Bedford, MA and John E. Bachmann, Sr. of Peabody, MA; daughter, Julianne Howland of Haverhill, MA; sisters, Priscilla Rowand of Beverly, MA and Virginia Starkey of China, ME; loving companion, David Culhane of Vero Beach, FL; 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Frances Prest and brother, Raymond Attwood .

Visitation will be held 2:30 – 5:30 PM, Saturday, September 13, 2014 Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian, FL. A prayer service will be held 5:30 PM, Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian, FL with Deacon John Dunlop, celebrant. JOHN WILSON ATKINSON, 79, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2014. Born in Pinner, England on June 5, 1935 to Alan and Margaret Atkinson, he leaves behind his wife, Nancy, whom he adored, and children, Holly(Richard), Randall(Trisha) and Bradley(Janie), Jane(Billy), Nicola(Ray) and John(Irene); grandchildren, Spencer, Brett, Zach, Matthew, Beau, Tyler, Kayla, Kristan, Julian, Sean, Sam, Meave, Rachel, Kolin and James.

John was a very honest and loyal English gentleman with a great sense of humor. His great passions in life were taking care of Nancy and their beloved poodle Sasha, golf as well as being an avid reader. He also leaves behind many friends in Jamaica where he lived and worked as a Chartered Accountant for PMM (KPMG) for 35 years and as a Partner from 1964-1978 and family in England.

ELEANOR HUMBER HULL, 92, of Vero Beach, Florida, went Home to be with her Lord on September 8, 2014. She was born August 29, 1922 in Coscob, CT and had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1995, coming from Stamford, CT.Mrs. Hull was of the Episcopal faith. She served as a foster mother and babysitter for many years.

She is a loving mother of seven children, Barbara Bryant (John, Jr.), Beverly Holmes Richardson (John), Elaine Improta (Michael), Eleanor Concilio (Dom), Nancy Morgani (Jack), William B. Hull, Jr. (Jane); 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her husband, William B. Hull; mother, Florence Humber; 2 sisters and 4 brothers.

LAURA FRANCES LINDSEY, 87, a lifelong resident of Vero Beach, Florida passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at her home. Laura was born September 17, 1926 to the late Wiley and Fannie (nee Croft) Cox. A graduate of Vero Beach High School, Laura met her husband to be, Ralph J. Lindsey, while she was working at Naval Air Station Vero Beach during WW II. Ralph was in Vero as part of his Naval training. Their marriage was blessed to span 64 years until his death in 2010. Laura had owned and operated a preschool in the early days of her marriage before she went to work as a bookkeeper at the law firm of Mitchell, Smith and Mitchell in Vero Beach.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Vero Beach and served as the pianist for one of the Junior High Sunday School Classes for many years as well as any civic group that might need her skills. Laura was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.

Survivors include son Bobby J. Lindsey, daughters Patricia L. Hayes and Jean Lindsey, grandchildren Robb Linsdsey, Julie Kastensmidt, Ralna Reel, Craig Hayes, Brian Hayes, Laura Sadler, Ross Partee, eighteen greatgrandchildren, and her dog Honey who was always at her side. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph J. Lindsey and a sister Clemmie Louise Tripp.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Florida Baptist Children’s Home, 1015 Sikes Blvd, Lakeland, FL 33815 A Life Celebration Memorial Service will begin at 11 AM, Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Vero Beach. ROSEMARY ANN SHARNET, 91, died September 7, 2014 at Palm Garden of Vero Beach in Vero Beach.
Rosemary was born in Elmhurst, NY and lived in Vero Beach for 15 years coming from Kingston, NY .

Survivors include her granddaughters, Jillian Miller of Vero Beach; Tara Sharnet of Kingston, NY, Michelle Saures of Kingston, NY and Janai Cooper of Vero Beach; sister, Ellen Houck of Delray Beach, FL and 9 great-grandchildren.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Paul Sharnet; sons, Gary and Bruce Sharnet and daughter, Karen A. Miller. Strunk Funeral Home (9/11/14)

GENE A. TUMPLIN, 84, died September 7, 2014 at Vitas Hospice at Courtenay Springs in Merritt Island. He was born in Moultrie, Florida and lived in Palm Bay coming from Titusville, FL in 2004. Gene was a retired US Army veteran. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Fellsmere, Fellsmere, FL where he was active as a Deacon.

Survivors include his wife Inez Tumblin of Palm Bay, FL; stepson, Bobby Stone of Fort Pierce, FL; stepdaughters, Glenda Bortel of Vero Beach, FL and Karen Stone of Palm Bay, FL; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; brother, Cecil Tumblin of Pace, FL. He was preceded in death by his son, Gary Stone; brothers, Jerome B. Tumblin and William D. Tumlin Jr.; sister, Mary (Dot) Fredell.

Visitation will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Fellsmere, Fellsmere, FL. A Funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM, with Rev. David Johns, officiating. Interment will be at Sebastian Cemetery. Strunk Funeral Home (9/11/14)
