NEWS RELEASE

Voter AlertThe Indian River County Supervisor of Elections Office has been inundated with calls this week from voters who received the flyer pictured below. The flyer, sponsored by Let’s Get to Work Florida, leads voters to believe that they should have already received their absentee ballot and if not, they should call our office. According to Florida Statute, the first day that the Elections Office could have mailed domestic absentee ballots was Tuesday, September 30.

The Indian River County Elections Office delievered 14,847 ballots to the post office on October 1st. Therefore, voters with an absentee ballot request on file should be receiving their absentee ballot in the next couple of days.
