DundonHELEN LOUISE DUNDON, 80, of Vero Beach passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at the Indian River Medical Center. She was a native of Youngstown, Ohio. She lived in Cleveland, OH before moving to Vero Beach. Helen was a High School Teacher. She later owned and operated her own Ladies Boutique. Helen was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach, FL. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Thomas R. Dundon; daughter, Molly Leighton; 3 sons, Dr. Thomas (Linda) Dundon, Mark (Anne) Dundon and Sean (Patti) Dundon as well as 9 grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2014 from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, 1950 20th St. Vero Beach, FL. A vigil service will follow at 7 PM. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 10th at 10 AM at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church,the Service will be in the Chapel, 7550 26th St, Vero Beach, FL 32966. HillDOLORES MAY HILL, age 80, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away on October 4, 2014, at Consulate Health Care in Vero Beach. She was born on November 5, 1933, in Chicago, IL, and was preceded in death by her brother, Leroy Beldin. 

Hill is survived by her sisters, Genevieve Sellers and Marcella Sellers; children, John Chezum, Jocelyn Bileddo, and Pat Moon; grandchildren, Andrea Chezum, Tonya Chezum, Diamand Gulley, Melantha Rannie, Amber Rannie, John Rivas, Holly Chezum, Amanda Lindberg, Gretchen Chezum, Lacey Chezum, Jessica Martin, and Jaclyn Moon; and 27 great-grandchildren. 

Hill moved to Sebastian, FL, in 1957 from Fairfield, IA, and has been a resident of Indian River County ever since. She owned and operated Orchid Island Orchids, a Vero Beach orchid nursery and retail store, for over 20 years and retired from the business in 2007. 

Hill was an active member of Faith Baptist Church in Vero Beach. A memorial service will be held in celebration of her life on Thursday, October 9, at 11:00am at Faith Baptist Church at 7966 20th Street, Vero Beach, FL, 32966. LOUISE A. JACH, 75, died October 5, 2014 at Grace Rehabilitation Center in Vero Beach. Louise was born in Rocky River, OH and has been a winter resident of Vero Beach since 1995, moving to Vero Beach permanently in 2005 from Muscatine, IA. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Garvase J. Jach of Vero Beach; son, Kevin Jach and his wife, Shannon of Eden Prairie, MN; daughter, Leslie Bodell and her husband, Gerard of Plymouth, MN; grandchildren, Michael Bodell, Maddie Bodell, Ryan Jach, Lauren Jach, Aaryn Sutton, Amber Sutton, Austin Sutton; brother, Jim Sellgren of Bloomfield Hills, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, Grand Central Station, P.O. Box 4777, New York, NY 10163-4777 in memory of Louise A. Jach. KostMARIANNE SUMMA KOST, 71, died October 3, 2014 at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.

Marianne was born in Westbury, Long Island, NY and lived in Vero Beach for 23 years coming from Uniondale, Long Island, NY. 

She was the Cafeteria Food Director for the Babylon School District in the Village of Babylon, NY for 20 years before her retirement in 1990. In Vero Beach, Marianne worked as the cafeteria director for the Indian River Christian School for 5 years. 

She was a member of Central Assembly of God, Vero Beach.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Charles A. Kost of Vero Beach; son and daughter-in-law, Charles A. Kost III and Gina Kost of Vero Beach; daughter, Dorianne Farnham of Monroe, CT; grandsons, Charles A. Kost IV of Vero Beach, Jonathan C. Farnham of Monroe, CT and Anthony C. Kost of Vero Beach; granddaughters, Katherine A. Farnham and Julianne T. Farnham both of Monroe, CT and Gianna Marie Kost of Vero Beach and sister Rosalie Gillis of Lititz, PA.

Memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960 in memory of Marianne Kost.

MAGGIE JO LOHMAN, 84, took the stairway to heaven on October 4, 2014. Maggie was born on September 15, 1930 in Louisburg, North Carolina to Furney and Lizzie Strother. In 1948, she graduated from Park View School of Nursing in Rocky Mountain, NC. Always dedicated and determined, she ranked 6th in her class. She was commissioned an Ensign in the United States Navy in December 1953 and spent three years serving our country as a Navy nurse. Her service set the conditions for spending the rest of her life doing what she loved most, taking care of others. Maggie Jo married Albert Sigmond Lohmann on September 6, 1956. Together they welcomed three beautiful children, five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Maggie leaves behind her husband of fifty-eight years, children Michael (Shelly) Lohmann, Paula (Joe) Pedone, Richard (Debbie) Lohmann, Sister, Marie Ernesti, Brother, Harry (Vanessa) Strother. Grandchildren, Amber (David) Giganti, Crystal (Robert) Swiatek, Justin Pedone, Kathryn Pedone, Jessica (Brian) Phillips, and Great Grandchildren Griffin and Emma Giganti. Maggie was reunited with her parents as well as five of her brothers and sisters. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2014, at the Davis Seawinds Funeral Home in Melbourne, FL from 9 AM to 11 AM. A service will follow at 11 AM.
