Baseball championship and Jake Owen concert this weekend at Historic Dodgertown

Dodgertown LogoHistoric Dodgertown and Indian River County feature a full lineup this weekend, as they are set to host both the Baseball Youth Fall Championship youth baseball tournament and the eighth annual Jake Owen Benefit Concert.

The Baseball Youth Fall Championship, sponsored by Treasure Coast Sports Commission, will include more than 50 teams, separated into 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U and 14U age divisions. Games will be held at Historic Dodgertown, Vero Beach High School, and North and South County regional parks.

The three day tournament will kick off Friday evening with an Opening Ceremony and Skills Competition beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday’s games will begin at 8 a.m. and will end around 3 p.m. at Historic Dodgertown’s youth baseball cloverleaf and 4 p.m. for the larger fields, as well as at other county parks. Sunday’s games will begin at 8 a.m. and will continue through the evening.

This will be the fourth year Historic Dodgertown has hosted the annual Jake Owen Foundation Benefit Concert. The concert, featuring special guest The Cadillac Three, takes place Saturday, October 25, in Holman Stadium. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. and the concert begins at 7 p.m.
