City Council candidate Charlie Wilson’s latest political advertising reminds voters he “stands” with Pilar Turner, who, in her zealousness to cut city spending, recently voted against restoring lifeguard hours at Humiston Park Beach. (See: City Council vote helps save lives)
Last year, when Florida Power & Light spent some $40,000 trying to help Tracy Carroll get re-elected, Wilson was there at nearly every Council meeting defending Carroll and dismissing those who were concerned about her abrasive, combative style.
Yes, Charlie Wilson is a “stand up” candidate, and he stands with the likes of Carroll and Turner.
