The Environmental Learning Center (ELC) is hosting its annual “Discover Volunteering” Open House on Tuesday, December 2, on a drop-in basis between 3:00 and 5:00 pm. “This is an ideal way to explore volunteer possibilities without making a commitment,” says Nancy Puglio, ELC Volunteer Coordinator. “The opportunities are many, both seasonal and year round, and promise to be both fun and rewarding.” Staff and current volunteers will be on hand in the Entry Pavilion of the campus located off County Road 510 at the western end of the Wabasso Bridge to answer questions.
