“Welcome to Downtown!” Downtown Friday is January 30th

Downtown_Friday Logo BMain Street Vero Beach invites you join them to welcome a group of new businesses to Downtown. The January Downtown Friday Street Party will celebrate and promote the new businesses that moved to Downtown in 2014. The Jacks Band will entertain with classic rock, blues and their own Delta Mix from 5:30-8:30pm. The music, food and vendor booths will set up all along 14th Avenue between 20th and 23rd Streets. The Mental Health Association is the featured non-profit and representatives will have a booth to share program and service information.

The new businesses are Blue Agave Mexican Bar & Tequileria, Paint on the Vine, Metamorphosis Hair Salon, Burp Burgers, Katy Lynn Design, Camryn Michael Hair Salon, Garage Pizza, Blue Star Bourbon Bar and Southern Kitchen, Elektrik Boutique, The Crab Stop, Treasure Coast Collectibles, The Patio Seafood Tavern, USA Auto Sales and Lending, Florida Highwayman Landscape Art Gallery, Project Space 1785 and The Teaching Studio and Gallery. Main Street Vero Beach will have information and promotional material from each of these businesses available at their booth during Downtown Friday.

The community bicycle ride sponsored by Vero Cycling will start at 3:30pm this month. The ride begins in the parking lot east of Jetson TV and Appliance between the Twin Pairs. Cyclists of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate in the casual 6 mile ride.  Everyone participating should wear a helmet and children need to be accompanied by an adult. The ride lasts about an hour, no one is left behind and the cyclists circle back to Downtown Friday.  For more information on the bike ride, check verocycling.org.
