Indian River Charter High School participates in nation’s largest-ever celebration of educational opportunity
NEWS RELEASE
Indian River Charter High School will hold a special event on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 11:45 AM to celebrate National School Choice Week. A special preview of IRCHS’ upcoming production of Tarzan, The Stage Musical, based on the Disney Film and an introduction of our Board of Directors will be held at the school.
Indian River Charter High School is a charter high school serving grades 9–12, with a student enrollment of approximately 650. IRCHS is one of more than 9,000 schools participating in National School Choice Week (January 25–31, 2015). The goal of the Week is to shine a positive spotlight on all types of education options for children—from traditional public schools to public charter schools, magnet schools, private schools, online learning and homeschooling. “We are excited to have IRCHS participate in National School Choice Week with this special event,” said Andrew Campanella, National School Choice Week president. “It is because of great events like this that National School Choice Week, in Florida and across the country, will break records as the largest and most influential celebration of educational opportunity in American history.”
