Detectives seek help locating missing 10 year old child
NEWS RELEASE
In the evening hours of February 10th, detectives with the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office received information that wanted subject Yolanda Chambliss (also known as Yolanda Blue) was possibly in the Gifford area. Chambliss was wanted in Oxford, Mississippi for parental kidnaping of her ten (10 ) year old daughter, Carmen Hudson, who was believed to be in her custody. Detectives began searching the area.
Several hours later, Chambliss turned herself in at the Indian River County Jail. Detectives responded and interviewed Chambliss, who would only say that Carmen Hudson was in the custody of a friend. At this time, detectives believe that Carmen Hudson is somewhere in Indian River County and are asking for the public’s help to locate her. Carmen Hudson is a black juvenile female, 4’7″ tall, 65 pounds with a thin build, brown eyes, black hair. It is unknown what she was last wearing.
