For its second year The Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County (HSVBIRC) is playing “The Price is Right,” and local pets will be the winners! On February 24, the shelter will distribute spay/neuter certificates in honor of World Spay Day. Certificates are $15 for cats and $25 for dogs. Free spay/neuter vouchers will be provided to Indian River County residents on public assistance.

This year The Humane Society will distribute a total of 150 spay/neuter certificates at three different locations in Indian River County with bilingual staff on hand to help Spanish-speaking residents. Here is how any Indian River County resident can participate: Continue reading…
