Riverside Cafe again target of noise complaint

Vero Isles resident, Dr. Jim Norconk, again appealed to the City Council this week to resolve what he said has been a “21 year saga” of some 91 complaints made against the Riverside Cafe for late night noise. Norconk urged the Council to increase the penalty for repeated violations of the City’s noise ordinance.

To address the noise issue, Riverside Cafe management enclosed the bar and patio area fronting the Lagoon and has sense installed additional paneling.

According to City records, 9 of the 10 complaints against Riverside Cafe received since 2012 have been made by Norconk.
