Team will parade through central beach area  at 1 p.m.

Vero Beach City Manager Jim O’Connor announced last week that, with the help of the Busch family, City officials have arranged for a team of Budweiser Clydesdales to visit Vero Beach today. The Clydesdales will parade from Riverside Park, east on Beachland Boulevard, south on Ocean Drive, returning to Riverside Park on Flamevine Lane. The Budweiser Clydesdales, which stand at last 72 inches at the shoulder and weigh between 1,800 and 2,300 pounds, will begin their trek through the central beach area today at 1 p.m.
