Due to illness, Daniels’ appearance was rescheduled from March 21 to March 28

Ticket holders to the March 21 presentations by movie producer and director Lee Daniels at the Emerson Center’s Celebrated Speakers Series received word early last Saturday that Daniels had taken ill in route to Vero Beach. Danilels is now well again, and his two appearances at the Celebrated Speaker Series have been rescheduled for this coming Saturday, March 28 at 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
According to event organizers, all tickets dated for March 21 will be used for the presentations on March 28. Additional tickets are still available and can purchased for $80 per seat for the 4 p.m. presentation and $70 per seat for Daniels’ 6:30 p.m appearance.
Tickets may be purchased either online at http://www.TheEmersonCenter.org or by calling the box office at 772-778-5249. Student tickets for balcony seating will be sold for $20 for the 6:30 p.m. performance only. Tickets will be sold at the door with a student ID. Ask about the new elevator to the 2nd floor balcony and the seating for the physically challenged.
The Emerson Center is located on the campus of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Vero Beach, on the southeast corner of 16th Street and 27th Avenue. The site has more than 300 parking spaces, an auditorium that seats more than 800 people in comfortable padded seating, a raised stage that offers unrestricted views, and professional state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems.
