This jukebox Saturday night style concert is free with regular park entry fees

Christ by the Sea United Methodist Church, 3755 Highway A1A in Vero Beach, presents its Easter Cantata with choir, orchestra and liturgical dancers on Saturday, April 4th with performances at 4:30 pm and 7 pm. Free.

Theatre-Go-Round Dinner Theatre, located within the Quilted Giraffe Restaurant at 500 South US 1 in Vero Beach, concludes its 2014 – 2015 season with their all new production “Broadway Blockbusters” running through April 26th. The musical tribute to the Great White Way will run on Sundays with the doors opening for dinner at 4:30 p.m. followed by the show at 6 p.m. This production features blockbusters as One Night in Bangkok, Nobody Does It Like Me, I Am Changing, Don’t Cry Out Loud and Love Changes Everything. Dinner Theatre Packages, which include a 3-course dinner, show ticket, tax and gratuity are $55 per person. Reservations are required with Visa, MasterCard or Discover by calling 772-252-9341.

KINDER THEATRE BEGINS AT RCT

Riverside Children’s Theatre introduces Kinder Theatre, new weekday morning classes for the smallest thespians starting at age 2 and up to age 5. These classes offer a playful introduction to theatre, movement and art. Children’s literature and storytelling are the foundation for classes that foster kindergarten readiness and help children gain self-expression while learning how to interact with others. Classes are at 10 am Tuesday through Thursday beginning April 7th to May 14th and are $10 per session. For schedule information, visit http://www.riversidetheatre.com.

MARCELLO GIORDANO VOCAL COMPETITION
Vero Beach Opera is hosting Met Opera SuperStar Marcello Giordani, bringing back his International Vocal Competition to the Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center, where approximately 80 young opera singers from all over the world will compete for this prestigious award and grand prize of $10,000. Join in the fun and see if the “winners” that you choose are the Finalists at the end of the Competition. The Competition runs April 6th through 9th from 3 to 8 pm with the Finals Concert on April 10 at 7 pm. Tickets for the 4-day competition (April 6 – 9) are $20 for the four days. Finals Concert (April 10 at 7 pm) tickets are $30, $40 and $50.
Then on April 11th at 7 pm, Met Opera Star Marcello Giordani will close VBO’s 2015 season on a high note with his “Amado Mio Vero” (My Beloved Vero) Concert with the 2015 MGF International Vocal Competition winners. VBO Music Director Bruce Stasyna is pianist for the week long event.
