This afternoon, detectives with the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant in the 4400 block of 34th Court where multiple firearms and drugs were recovered. Detectives located multiple weapons including a .22 caliber semi automatic handgun and a .380 caliber handgun. Detectives also located and seized more than two hundred grams of marijuana and 16.3 grams of unidentified pills. Throughout the day, detectives report speaking with multiple witnesses who refused to cooperate or say they saw anything. This evening, they will continue to search for witnesses who will be questioned. Indian River County Sheriff Deryl Loar stated, “We continue to ask for the community’s help to bring justice in this case and other recent events. It is a travesty of justice when people who know who committed these crimes refuse to help us.” If you have any information about this shooting or any other crimes, you may contact the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency line at 772-978-6240 or Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-800-273-TIPS (8477) or http://www.tcwatch.org.
