Thomas Bud Holman, 86, a lifelong resident of Vero Beach, and son of Vero Beach pioneer Bud Holman, passed away August 4, 2015. Tom graduated from Vero Beach High School in 1947 and then from Georgia Tech with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. Tom was a lifelong pilot and was the founder and co-owner of Sun Aviation.
Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, JoAnn Poole Holman of Vero Beach, a son, Steven Richard Holman of Vero Beach,, FL, and a daughter, Valerie Ann Holman of Vero Beach, FL and Brevard, NC. And two grandchildren, Thomas William Holman of Vero Beach, and Steven Lewis Holman of the U.S. Army, and a brother, Harry “Bump” Holman and family of Vero Beach.
Friends may call from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm, on Monday, August 10, 2015 at the Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Crestlawn Cemetery.
