Brian Heady is now in his 18th run for public office.

Perennial candidate, Brian Heady, is currently running for a seat on the Vero Beach City Council. This is Heady’s 18th campaign for public office. Heady, who regularly asks for a hardship waver on filing fees, also does not accept financial contributions to his campaigns.

Throughout the year, Heady makes regular appearances before the City Council during televised public comment time. He is especially active, tough, in the run-up to election day. At some point, you would think Heady should at least report an in-kind contribution from the taxpayers of Vero Beach. It is taxpayers, after all, who pay the cost of hosting and broadcasting Heady’s campaign appearances.
