Vero Beach Police Officers Association endorses Amelia Graves and Richard Winger

To the citizens of the City Of Vero Beach:

Police OfficersOn Thursday, 10/27/15 the Vero Beach Police Officers Association Local 6019 held a screening of candidates for the upcoming election. All candidates participated in the screening except Brian Heady. During the screening, candidates were asked numerous questions about public safety and other hot topics within the city. After the screening was complete, the Vero Beach Police Officer Local 6019 Executive Board and I have decided to endorse two candidates in the upcoming election. It is with great honor that I announce these two candidates as being: Richard Winger and Amelia Graves.

Since being elected, both candidates have shown great consideration for public safety in Vero Beach. A great example of this is both candidates recently voting to increase the number of police officers at the budget hearings; these new officers will ensure the safety of you the citizens. Although this budget process was difficult, they were able to see through the politics and realize that your police agency needed more resources to assist the citizens of this great city. Both Mr. Winger and Ms. Graves continue to look out for the best interests of the City Of Vero Beach regardless of the agenda that the special interest groups are pushing. In closing, I would like to say that the city has been a much safer place thanks to Dick Winger and Amelia Graves. Please do not forget their contributions to the community on November 3, 2015.

Sincerely,

Bradley Kmetz, President

Vero Beach Police Officers Association Local 6019
