Richard Winger and Harry Howle III are to take their oath of office today at an organizational meeting of the City Council to begin at 10 a.m. Howle and Winger were each recently elected to two-years terms.

Following what is typically a brief swearing-in ceremony, Howle and Winger will join Jay Kramer, Randy Old and Pilar Turner in electing a mayor and vice mayor.

The first regular meeting of the new City Council is schedule for Tuesday and is to begin at 6 p.m.
