Representatives of the Vero Beach Art Club, an organization now celebrating its 80th anniversary, this week proposed painting a mural on the north wall of the racquetball courts in Riverside Park.
Three options for a mural, which would measure 24 feet high by 42 feet wide, were presented to the City Council for consideration. (see below.)
After receiving the Art Club’s presentation, Councilman Richard Winger proposed giving the public time to offer comment, input and suggestions. The Council is to consider the three options for a mural at its next regular business meeting, scheduled for Feb. 2.
