After reading Laurence Reisman’s recent column about proposed legislation aimed at the Florida Municipal Power Agency, I feel compelled to offer some facts and the historical perspective his column lacked.
FMPA is a not-for-profit organization composed of a group of cities that operate electric utilities. Contrary to Reisman’s assertions, the genesis of the proposed legislation affecting FMPA is an unresolved local issue in Vero Beach. Continue reading…
