LETTER TO THE EDITOR
JAY KRAMER
The year of 2016 will be the most extraordinary election for the next leader of our Nation. The candidates proposed policies, ideology and perspective vary significantly from social to financial issues: how each would unify our Country, embrace our values and provide an invigorating vision for our failure.
We have an opportunity to engage in supporting each of our views by voting in the Florida Presidential Preference Primary on March 15 which could well be crucial. It is a “closed” primary, only voters registered as a Democrat or Republican can cast a ballot – those with no party affiliation – Independents – are excluded. At the Conventions, Florida has the 3rd largest Republican and 4th largest Democratic number of elected Delegates.
This Tuesday, February 16, is the final day a voter can designate his or her party and be able to participate in the Presidential primary.
I urge you to be inclusive in this process and register for a party without compromising your principles and convictions so you have an opportunity to support a candidate of your choice.
Forfeiting your vote is silencing your voice.
Please contact IRC Supervisor of Elections at 772-226-2440 with any questions, register to vote or change your party affiliation.

Indian River County Republican State Committeeman

Well said and very much appreciated for the reminder.
