The Indian River Twisted Tail BBQ Cookoff, hosted by the Rotary Club of Vero Beach, will be held on Friday & Saturday, April 1st (5 pm to 10 pm) and April 2nd (10 am to 5 pm) at the Indian River County Fairgrounds, 7855 58th Avenue in Vero Beach. One Street Over will perform their mix of folksy, funky, bluegrass, and down-to-earth music at the Library Coffee House Friday, April 1, from 7 to 9 pm at the North Indian River County Library in Sebastian. Admission is free. For more information, call (772) 589-1355.
The Yale Whiffenpoofs, the world’s oldest and best-known collegiate a cappella group, will perform sponsored by the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra. The concert will be held at 7:30 pm on Friday, April 1st at Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center, 1707 16th Street. $20 advance tickets are available at www.SpaceCoastSymphony.org. The concert is free for those aged 18 and under or with a student ID. Tickets at the door are $25.
The Vero Beach Choral Society presents, “If Music Be the Food of Love”, a concert of works by Mozart, Franck, Rutter, Durufle, Lauridsen, and Leonard Cohen. Two performances are scheduled: April 1st at 7 pm at First Presbyterian Church of Vero Beach and April 3rd at 4 pm at Community Church of Vero Beach. Tickets, $10 in advance, $15 at door, $5 students.
