The Indian River Twisted Tail BBQ Cookoff, hosted by the Rotary Club of Vero Beach, will be held on Friday & Saturday, April 1st (5 pm to 10 pm) and April 2nd (10 am to 5 pm) at the Indian River County Fairgrounds, 7855 58th Avenue in Vero Beach.  Enjoy food, drink, live music and delicious barbeque.  Free admission.  Visit www.irtwistedtailbbq.com.

One Street Over will perform their mix of folksy, funky, bluegrass, and down-to-earth music at the Library Coffee House Friday, April 1, from 7 to 9 pm at the North Indian River County Library in Sebastian.  Admission is free.  For more information, call  (772) 589-1355.

The Yale Whiffenpoofs, the world’s oldest and best-known collegiate a cappella group, will perform sponsored by the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra. The concert will be held at 7:30 pm on Friday, April 1st at Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center, 1707 16th Street.   $20 advance tickets are available at www.SpaceCoastSymphony.org. The concert is free for those aged 18 and under or with a student ID. Tickets at the door are $25.

The Vero Beach Choral Society presents, “If Music Be the Food of Love”, a concert of works by Mozart, Franck, Rutter, Durufle, Lauridsen, and Leonard Cohen. Two performances are scheduled:  April 1st at 7 pm at First Presbyterian Church of Vero Beach and April 3rd at 4 pm at Community Church of Vero Beach. Tickets, $10 in advance, $15 at door, $5 students.
