Staff at the Humane Society Thrift Shops at 4435 20th St. in Vero Beach and 441 Sebastian Blvd in Sebastian have transformed donated dress shirts and linens into decorative rugs, LP records into candy dishes, yarn into dream catchers and beautiful cloth necklaces made from T-shirts in celebration of earth day. On sale all month.

The Senior Resource Association presents the Silver Tones Spring Concert, Greatest Songs of Andrew Lloyd Webber, on Thursday, April 28th from 7 to 9 pm at the First Presbyterian Church, 520 Royal Palm Blvd. A reception follows the concert.
