MARK SCHUMANN

Vero Beach Mayor Jay Kramer today picked up campaign filing papers from the City Clerks office. Kramer, first elected in 2010, has served six years on the City Council, and is now in his second one-year term as mayor.
Kramer, and other potential candidates who have not yet filed to run in the City’s Nov. 8 municipal election, have until Friday to submit the required paperwork with the Clerk’s Office. To date, Vice Mayor Randy Old has filed, along with candidates Sharon Gorry, Laura Moss, and Tony Young. Councilwoman Pilar Turner, who is also completing her sixth year on the Council, has yet to request filing papers.

Very glad to see you back aboard Captain. The invasion from the Army of discontent has been getting way too much attention.
A good man doing a great ,but difficult, job. It looks like some strong candidates will take on Pilar Turner and Laura Moss.
It is great to have someone who has an interest in the future of the city of Vero Beach and of its citizens.
