DAVE BARRY AT THE WAXLAX – As a part of the Saint Edwards School’s Speaker Series, Florida author Dave Barry will present his new book, “Best. State. Ever. A Florida Man Defends His Homeland,” on Thursday, September 8th at 7 pm at the Waxlax Center for the Performing Arts on the school’s campus. The Treasure Coast Rock & Gem Society will hold an Open House for new & prospective members on Thursday, September 8 at 7 pm. The public is invited to see displays of fossils, rocks, minerals and a demonstration of cabling semi-precious stones. Refreshments will be served.
