Humane Society to offer 200 free rabies vaccinations Sept. 25

The Humane Society will be sponsoring a free drive-thru rabies vaccination clinic from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m, Sept. 25. The Humane Society is located at 6230 77th St., Vero Beach. This free event is for dogs and cats belonging to Indian River County residents. Two-hundred rabies vaccinations will be administered on a first come, first serve basis.

These free one-year rabies vaccinations will be administered to dogs and cats sixteen weeks of age or older. Dogs must be leashed and cats must be in carriers. This event is held in conjunction with World Rabies Day, an international campaign created by the Global Alliance for Rabies Control (GARC) to eradicate rabies worldwide.
