Power Squadron’s ABC Boating Class will be held on Saturday, January 14, from 9 AM – 4 PM at the Power Squadron building (301 Acacia Rd, Vero Beach, FL 32963).

Passing this course entitles you to a NASBLA card. If you were born after 12/31/1987, the State of Florida requires that you have a NASBLA card to operate a 10 horse power or larger motorboat or PWC (personal water craft). Also, to work at YSF Summer Camp or to receive your U.S. Sailing Level 1 certification you must have your NASBLA card.

The course is free.

There is a $35.00 charge for class materials, however YSF owns 5 sets of materials which are available on loan to YSF students during this class. YSF Sailing Director, Mary Morgan can lend you these class materials. Contact her at 609-744-8366.
