Christ Church Vero Beach will host the 3rd ANNUAL VETERANS SALUTE BARBECUE Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 1 pm – 3 pm .
The event is being held inside the new Christ Church Vero Beach building located at 667 20th Street in Vero Beach, FL and is the first public event for the church’s 9.23 Community Center.
The 2017 Veterans Salute Barbecue welcomes veterans, their families and friends. The lunch, provided by Christ Church Vero Beach volunteers, will feature pork barbecue, coleslaw and beans followed by cherry cobbler for dessert. Tea, water, coffee and lemonade will also be available.
The day’s ceremonies will include an honor guard and the dedication of Christ Church Vero Beach’s newly installed flagpole. An American Flag that was first flown over the US Capital on Easter Day 2017 will be raised during the dedication ceremony. In the future, this very special US Flag will be flown exclusively on military and national holidays
