NEWS RELEASE

This show will run from October 30 through November 30, with a reception on Friday November 2 from 5-8pm, as part of the Downtown Historic Arts District First Friday Gallery Stroll. Master pastel artist Lynn Morgan, who hails originally from Detroit, is inspired by her passion for travelling. According to Lynn: “I see Florida scenery all the time. What inspires me is the scenery that I only get to see when I travel.” Lynn is a signature member of the National Association of Women Artists and a juried member of the Pastel Society of America. A multiple award winner, she exhibits both locally and nationally. Susan Rienzo, an award winning fiber artist, is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology with a degree in Fashion Design. She continued her education at the University of Georgia, receiving a BFA in Graphic Design. She considers her whimsical art quilts to be ‘textile paintings’ and is captivated with pattern juxtaposition, graphic linear design and joyful themes of colorful living in Florida. Published in many books, she is a juried Art Member of the Studio Art Quilt Associates.
Also, at the November reception will be work in oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, collage, sculpture, ceramic, jewelry, and photography, by artist-owners: Edgardo Abello, Lila Blakeslee, Barbara du Pont, Beth-Anne Fairchild, Mary Ann Hall, Barbara Landry, Deborah Morrell Polackwich, and Dorothy Napp Schindel.
