Coastal flooding and significant beach erosion continue into Thursday, then slowly diminish into Friday. Wind Advisory until 8:00 p.m.

HIGH WIND IMPACT:

Northeast winds around 15-20 mph with gusts to 25 to 30 mph at times.

COASTAL FLOOD IMPACT:

A Coastal Flood Advisory continues for Indian River County through 4:00 p.m. Significant beach erosion and localized coastal flooding is expected around high tide, which will occur from around 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

RIP CURRENT IMPACT:

There is a high risk of life threatening rip currents. Rip currents and rough breaking surf is potentially deadly to all levels of swimmers. Entering the surf is not advised.
