Aloha! Youth Guidance’s 46th Annual Tropical Night Luau will take place on Monday, October 23rd, 2023 at the Quail Valley River Club. The fundraising event will unfold from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
As Youth Guidance celebrates 50 years of improving the lives of Indian River County children, the Tropical Night Luau promises an unforgettable experience for all attendees. Guests will be greeted with traditional Hawaiian leis upon arrival, setting the tone for a vibrant night of entertainment and meaningful connections. Against the backdrop of the scenic Quail Valley River Club, the Luau will feature an open bar, tropical dinner, and a chance to meet the beneficiaries of Youth Guidance’s mentoring programs.
The Luau’s highlights include a lively dance floor, a captivating live auction boasting an array of items, and an exciting performance by Hiti Mahana Polynesia featuring a Siva Afi Fire Knife Spinning finale.
Proceeds from the Tropical Night Luau will directly impact the lives of more than 200 children and young adults (ages 5-24) who live in Indian River County and attend Youth Guidance every year.
The local nonprofit organization provides Indian River County youth access to critical life skills, academic enrichment, vocational training, and nourishing meals served daily. All programs and meals are provided free of charge.
As guests arrive at the Tropical Night Luau, children will share what they are learning in Youth Guidance programs, including bicycle repair, sewing, cooking, and a state-registered pre-apprenticeship program that teaches five skilled trades (welding, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and electric).
