The Comedy Zone at Riverside Theatre on September 29 & 30
Headliner Carl Rimi is a seasoned stand-up comedian with a remarkable 28-year career, celebrated for his performances in comedy clubs nationwide and on cruise ships across the globe.
Feature act Keith Lenart has worked with Caroline Rhea, Pauly Shore, Judy Tenuta, Bobcat Goldthwait, and Lewis Black to name a few.

Low Ground is an acoustic all string jam band, mixing the old with the new and adding twists of their own along the way. Low Ground is heavily influenced by Americana, Bluegrass, Folk, Rock, Blues, and Jazz, creating Jam styles of cover tunes from Grateful Dead, Elvis, Bob Dylan, John Prine, Patsy Cline and many other rock and country artists. They also jam on some instrumental tunes, changing up the time feel and vibe of songs and doing it at whim, all improvised that will get you clapping and dancing.
On September 30 take a trip through time together and visit the greatest hits of the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s with The Johnny Nick’s Band. We remember and celebrate this unique and incredible musical journey that each decade gave to us! Each one so different from the other. It changed us, and it changed musical history forever!

VBMA presents The Infinite Variations: The Imaginative Worlds of M.C. Escher
On view September 30 – December 30. A consummate boundary-pusher and arguably the most famous printmaker of the modern era, Escher used his work to challenge perspectives, deftly exploring the relationships between art and science, reality and illusion, chaos and order, and logic and absurdity. Escher’s images pervade popular culture and fascinate audiences with their imaginative design, consummate draftsmanship, and dreamy visions.

Award winning Artist George Pillorgé is a retired architect who uses his keen eye for design and detail to bring images and scenes to life. Seemingly “everyday” occurrences are given a new perspective through his use of colorful pastels. The artist has said, “Pastel painting is a perfect extension of my past architectural drawing into a new expressive and colorful realm.”
