Dyer Subaru Shares the Love of the Environmental Learning Center

news release

Over the last 15 years, Subaru’s Share the Love program has donated more than $256 million to over two thousand charities. One of the local recipients of Dyer Subaru’s Share the Love programs is the Environmental Learning Center (ELC), and this year, WinterGreen Night Lights at the ELC will be even brighter thanks to the partnership. ELC’s WinterGreen Nights is slated for December 7th, 8th, and 9th and again on December 14th, 15th, and 16th.

The family-friendly celebration which has become a favorite with families throughout the area, will provide participants an opportunity to experience the lighted mangrove tunnels in the Indian Rivere Lagoon via canoe. There will also be a Discovery Station, aquariums, and even a Touch Tank, so you can get up close and personal with the amazing and fragile ecosystem that surrounds us. Children will be able to enjoy craft activities, and there will be plenty of options for shopping to help knock out your holiday gift list with unique, handcrafted treasures. Food trucks will be available, so you can plan to spend a delightful evening enjoying family, a sunset picnic, and learning about the importance of our unique environment.

Dyer Subaru believes strongly in building a better community and celebrating beauty and kindness in our midst, so partnering with the Environmental Learning Center to help bring WinterGreen Night Lights to the community was a no-brainer. In addition to the Share the Love program through Subaru, Dyer dealerships make a difference in the community by celebrating nonprofit organizations with recognition and funding through the Dyer Difference Award. The monthly award and substantial donations made to nonprofit organizations in each Indian River and St. Lucie Counties help make a positive difference in the community. For the recipients, it’s an acknowledgement of their tireless efforts to do the same and a much-needed financial boost to help further their missions. If you’d like to nominate a non-profit organization for the Dyer Difference Award, please visit http://www.dyerdifference.org or find Dyer Difference on Facebook.
