Program 2 of Ballet Vero Beach’s 2023-2024 Season features bold leaps forward in our repertory development. Balanchine, Graham, Wheeldon will not only feature the main stage premiere of the complete Sylvia Pas De Deux by George Balanchine but will also feature our first forays into developing relationships with Tony Award Winning Choreographer Christopher Wheeldon and the legendary Martha Graham Dance Company. The program also features Museum Pieces, a work that was born out of our very first collaboration with our beloved Vero Beach Museum of Art.
Full performances are slated for 7:30pm on February 23 and 2:00pm and 7:30pm on February 24. The Accessible/Family Friendly Series performance for this production will take place on February 25 at 2:00pm.
Accessible/Family Friendly Series performances feature modified audio and visual effects and increased accessible seating and sections for those who might not be able to remain seated throughout the performance. Ballet Vero Beach is thrilled to be the only arts organization in the area to offer a fully Accessible/Family Friendly Series that offers professional-level arts experiences to underserved segments of our community. All tickets for this series are subsidized at $10, thanks to the generosity of Ballet Vero Beach’s many funders and donors.
