Sean Sexton, the very first IRC Poet Laureate, has tirelessly and enthusiastically represented the literary arts and our county for eight years. His roots in our community are deep and his passion for the literary and visual arts provide a strong legacy going forward.

It’s now time to select the county’s second Poet Laureate. Please review the call for applicants and nominees below and join us in congratulating and thanking Sean for his service in the role from 2016-2024.
