Riverside Theatre for Kids presents a magical summer of musicals for the whole family with Shrek the Musical KIDS, June 28-29. Shrek the Musical KIDS, a 30-minute pilot production of the original musical is performed by students aged 6-11.

Space Coast Symphony Orchestra offers Celebrate America on June 29, 2pm, The Emerson Center. This FREE red, white and blue concert will honor all those who have worn our nation’s uniform.
This all-American program will showcase our national heritage, as conductor Aaron directs the wind orchestra with music by Morton Gould, Frank Ticheli, Lee Greenwood, Christopher Marshall, and marches from “The March King,” John Philip Sousa. The concert will highlight Frank Ticheli’s thrilling and bluesy, Blue Shades. This high energy and jazzy tribute to the Big Band era is a pressure cooker of excitement. Rounding out the program is Christopher Marshall’s Méndez, inspired by the legendary Mexican trumpet virtuoso Rafael Méndez who presented hundreds of trumpet trio concerts across the United States with his two sons, Rafael Jr. and Robert. Méndez seeks to evoke the atmosphere of those performances and the exciting spirit of Mexican folk music.

Spring Art Show Galleries at First Presbyterian Church of Vero Beach

The work of three standout artists will be displayed in galleries throughout the church campus for the duration of the show. Visitors can enjoy free refreshments as they peruse the work of Leslie Jordan, Barbara Desrosiers and Suzanne Roff.

A unique summer show featuring the artist-owners.
Artists receptions: July 5, August 2 and September 6, all 5-8pm.
Featured artists in this special show will be Gallery 14 artist-owners: Lila Blakeslee, Barbara du Pont, Barbara Landry, Mary Ann Hall, Jessica Leto, Deborah Morrell Polackwich, Dorothy Napp Schindel and Evan Schwarze.
Also in the Gallery throughout the summer will be work by Gallery 14’s represented artists: Walford Campbell, Jim Cohoe, Melanie Denison, Joan Earnhart, Terry Green, Viola Pace Knudsen, Mia Lindberg, Francis Mesaros, Michael Robinson, Carol Staub, and Jo Zaza.
