The Pirates of Penzance is fresh off three, fully-staged performances in Orlando. Space Coast Symphony Orchestra Conductor and Artistic Director, Aaron T. Collins enjoys the annual summer collaborations with Central Florida Vocal Arts and knows this production is a winner.
“Pirates is such a lighthearted show,” said Collins. “The story is fast-paced and silly — and of course has a happy ending. There’s a shipload of raucous fun in store for the audience, whether they are newcomers to operetta or Gilbert and Sullivan aficionados.”
The Space Coast Symphony Orchestra is one of only a handful of U.S. orchestras to perform year-round. Concertgoers aged 18 and under or with a college ID are admitted free to every SCSO concert.
