Creating your legacy: Free fall public IRGS programs

You are invited to join the Indian River Genealogical Society, IRGS for three fall FREE opportunities to learn how to create, preserve and share your legacy. 

Wednesday, October 16 The Brackett Preservation Lab will co-host a demonstration of the new equipment and the process of preserving your old photos, letters, and memorabilia. Once saved, find out how you can make this an exciting part of your shared stories with family and friends. This event will be held from 5-7 pm. Indian River State College, Mueller Campus, 2nd floor of the Brackett Library. This event is co-hosted by IRC Libraries, IRGS and the Lab led by Angie Neely-Sardon, IRSC Assistant Professor and Librarian.

Tuesday, November 12 at the Main Library, 1st floor Media Room members will share and inspire you to tell your stories on family food memories. We will discuss the relationship and history of Food & Family. The social will begin at 10:30 am. followed by 11 am. program. Recipes to share are encouraged. 

Tuesday, December 10 Come prepared for an entertaining and informative Show & Tell on family heirlooms and artifacts and how they connect to our family history and add to your legacy. IRGS invites you to the Main Library, Media Room beginning at 10:30 am.
