Post-hurricane debris pickup update

Solid Waste Disposal District (SWDD) is providing the following public service information related to Post-Hurricane Milton Disaster Debris Response.
Unincorporated IRC Disaster Debris: The County Disaster Debris Collection Contractor will start collecting vegetative storm debris on Monday, October 21, 2024.
IRC will have a map on its website beginning Friday, October 18, 2024, with more information for debris cleanup related to your address.
If private road and private subdivision Right-of-Entry forms have not already been submitted, complete the Right-of-Entry form here – https://indianrivercounty.rja.revize.com/forms/5793.
All residents of Unincorporated IRC on public roads and those in private subdivisions are encouraged to follow the Debris Collection guideline shown below. Please take the fime to place materials on the road right-a-way.
Municipal Disaster Debris: Please contact your local town or city officials for their Disaster Debris Management plans within the municipal jurisdiction.
Indian River County Landfill: The IRC landfill is back at normal operating hours. Tipping fees for all customers bringing in Construction and Demolition (C&D) Debris and Yard Waste Debris are being waived through end of day on Sunday, October 20, 2024.
Customer Convenience Centers: Normal Operations Convenience Center Hours of operation.
Garbage, Recycling and Yard Waste Collection in Unincorporated IRC: As of Friday, October 11th WM has resumed garbage, recycling and yard waste collection services; however, the services will be delayed by one day through the end of the week for residential, commercial and roll off customers.
