9th Annual Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show
November 2, 10am – 3pm
Up to 85 vehicles on display at First Presbyterian Church of Vero Beach
located at 520 Royal Palm Boulevard. The family-friendly event in the church parking lots is expected to draw hundreds of visitors eager for a close-up look at 85 classic vehicles from six area car clubs and individual owners in the community, along with several auto-related vendors. Trophies will be presented at 2:30 PM for best General Motors, Ford, Mopar (Chrysler) and foreign automobile, in addition to a Driver’s Choice award and Best in Show.

Anything Goes Exhibition at Art at the Emerson Gallery: An Array of Open Expression Where All Mediums Collide . On view through December 30. Meet the Artists Reception November 6, 5:30 – 7pm. Melbourne Municipal Band Concert: BAND-A-RAMA on November 7, 7 – 9pm, Melbourne Auditorium , 625 E. Hibiscus Blvd in Melbourne.
Ensembles large and small from the MMB at the Melbourne Auditorium will present a variety of musical styles. Performances from the MMB Concert Band, to Rock & Roll Revue, the Adagio Sax Quartet, New Horizons Band, Clarinetics, and the Sunshine Brass Quintet. Experience the World of Glass Art Creation at the Roadside Reverie: Glass Works by John Miller at the Vero Beach Museum of Art (VBMA). Delight in more than 40 larger-than-life glass sculptures—from oversized hamburgers to hood ornaments—spanning four of Miller’s artistic series: “Hot Stuff,” “The Blue Plate Special,” “Do Not Duplicate,” and “Classic Heat.” Those interested in an in-depth discussion about the works and the artists can join Museum docents at 2pm for a guided gallery tour.
