On Saturday, February 8, 2025, Ballet Vero Beach returns to the Vero Beach Museum of Art for Joie de Vivre, a stunning interpretation of internationally touring French Moderns: Monet to Matisse, 1850–1950 exhibition. By popular demand, the company will perform shows at 12:00 noon and 3:00 p.m.
Inspired by line, balance, and blank space, Joie de Vivre is a sweeping program with French flare and avant-garde movements. It features premiere works by dancers Darien Santos and Abriella Mauldin.
“After an early sell-out of our fall show, the company decided to offer two performances to celebrate French Moderns with VBMA members and guests,” shares BVB Artistic Director and CEO Adam Schnell. “We are so pleased that patrons are recognizing the incredible efforts put forth by BVB and VBMA to be a beacon for the arts and art creation in our community.”
Tickets to the performances include entrance to the Museum, so guests are encouraged to arrive early to visit the galleries or take the 2 p.m. docent-led exhibition tour before or after the show.
Tickets are $30 per show for VBMA members and Ballet Vero Beach subscribers and $36 for nonmembers. Register online at https://www.vbmuseum.org/upcoming-events-lectures-seminars/.
