Ballet Vero Beach’s 12th Season continues as so many have, with laughter bringing down the house. The company is thrilled to present an entire program of works by the godfather of comedy ballet, Peter Anastos.
From a troupe of bonkers pirates to a cadre of frustrated ballerinas to an absolutely dismal ballet school full of untalented little darlings, Anastos’s works have helped define Ballet Vero Beach’s signature comic timing. Don’t miss your chance to see La Trovatiara Pas De Cinq, Go For Barocco, and Ecole de Ballet all on one bill!
Full performances are slated for 7:30 p.m. on April 11 and 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on April 12 at the VBHS Performing Arts Center. Tickets range from $10 to $85.
Ballet Vero Beach’s Accessible/Family-Friendly Series performance is on April 13 at 2:00 p.m., also at the VBHS Performing Arts Center. This performance will feature the dazzling production of The Sleeping Princess, a one-hour ballet perfect for the whole family. The production will include modified audio and visual effects and increased accessible seating and sections for those who might not be able to remain seated throughout the performance.
Ballet Vero Beach is thrilled to be the only arts organization in the area to offer a fully Accessible/Family-Friendly Series that offers professional-level arts experiences to underserved segments of our community. Thanks to the generosity of Ballet Vero Beach’s many funders and donors, all tickets for the Accessible/Family Friendly Series are subsidized at $10.
Watch At Home archival film access will be available for this program. Student Rush tickets are available at the door for $10 by providing a valid student ID.
All tickets can be found at balletverobeach.org or by calling the company at 772-269-1065.
